“In spirit of all families matter, this has been identified as a
GENDER NEUTRAL RESTROOM
Why? For gender-nonconforming individuals, just walking through the door of a public restroom can be stressful. Everyone should have the rights to use a restroom without fear of discrimination. Unisex restrooms are no more dangerous than gender-segregated bathrooms nor do they exclude any one person based on their identity of appearance.

I wish when you met new people they would go up to you and say “Hi! Nice to meet you! What’s your name and preferred pronoun?”
So this was just a doodle I did after some identity micro-aggressions. I’d also like to clarify that this sort of genital based identity policing affects many trans* people and I don’t mean this image to be AFAB trans* people-centric, I’m just speaking of my own personal experiences.
Also, though I drew this 2 months a go I just recently had a day in my Feminist Theory class that made me feel this way. My professor is this old school feminist who knows nothing of trans* issues, she’s third gendered all trans* people, specifically third gendered all trans women, mis-pronouned the only trans* author she bothers to assign (and surprise surprise, ze’s AFAB), misgendered me to my face, loves psychoanalysis, and assigns pieces which connect vaginas to womanhood and then never questions this. She’s the worst professor I’ve ever had and last week when we read a piece by this radscum piece of shit and she never criticized it I thought I was going to lose my mind.
Anyway, this has been a rant.

But when I hear someone repeatedly call someone else by the wrong pronouns or name it makes me want to scream at them.
I am sick and tired of people invalidating my fucking gender I don’t invalidate yours so fuck off.
I don’t know, I mean you’re the only one who really knows, but maybe just experiment and see what feels right?
